The WanderFox Den truck topper lures us back to the basics we all seek in a pickup truck cap, camper or shell while offering many heightened utility and overland features found on more expensive models. The Den can be picked up at our headquarters and retail location in Golden, Colorado where installation services are available or shipped via freight to your door.

We produced this topper to be the "Model T" of overland utility truck toppers, providing quality, durability and function for everyday adventurers. We've noticed that you can spend $6k on a really nice boutique topper that will outlast humanity or support 12 times the weight your truck could ever safely carry. While those products are super cool, they're unaffordable for most Americans. Even people with one-percenter bank accounts agree that there is a limit to what a simple truck topper should cost. We believe the WanderFox is a solid product that should outlast your truck, provide the same general function as more expensive offerings and be the "one paycheck worth of cool" that most people can afford to spend on a brand new, major truck upgrade. All replacement parts are stocked in Golden, Colorado and we took care to design a topper that goes together with common hardware and materials, so if you ever find yourself on an adventure that involves some trail damage, chances are the local hardware store will be a one-stop solution, as opposed to waiting for special-order parts.

Assembly takes about an hour and requires basic tools. If you can assemble Ikea furniture, caulk the seam behind your sink and replace a generic trailer tail lamp (or have a friend who can), you'll be set! It's pretty basic. Download our instruction manual to see for yourself. It's basically five panels that bolt together with seals, but we included tons of photographs and tips so the manual's longer than it needs to be.

Just like your truck, the WanderFox Den topper is a versatile, tough piece of equipment that can handle work and adventure. It's designed to last in every climate, using stainless steel hardware and aluminum panels that are powder coated to withstand scratches, scrapes, corrosion and UV rays from the all-powerful sun. The Den comes standard with a set of two crossbars that bolt securely to the roof rails. Additional cross-bars are available for purchase. The roof rails themselves feature a network of eyelets and tie-down points spanning the entire length of the topper so that cargo can be fully secured for travel over the harshest roads and trails.
