The Lair!

The WanderFox "Lair" Truck Camper - Our Newest Project!

Stocked inventory for F-150 and Tacoma will be available in Golden, CO in May! Stop by our showroom to check out the camper. You can reserve one or special order one if you like what you see! Our camper is a scalable design, so we can make one for any truck on the road. The lair can be produced with or without windows, and accessory mount side panels are an option, for those who want to flex that gear all around RiNo - I mean, use it during overlanding trips...

The Lair has been described as "a tent that fits on a box that fits on a truck," by intellectuals who are three or four IPA's deep at dispersed camping areas across Colorado. So, for those of you hunting for reviews - There ya go!

- The lair comes with a 2" base mattress, which is a pretty nice surface to crawl around on while you adjust your other sleeping gear, which there is room for when the tent is in the closed position - Just don't over-compress that expensive down bag! The panels above the truck bed slide forward and out of the way for when you want to stand up and hang out in the fully-upright and standing position. Unlike some other manufacturers, we include panels that span the entire length of the truck bed! The rear-most panel can be removed and left at home if you desire to have full-time access from the bed to the tent, but if you want to bring it along on your trip, you'll have the whole tent area to hang out in, which is pretty useful for those rainy days where you just want to chill inside and play cards or whatever.

- The optional front dormer (pop up window) offers a bit more room than truck campers that are just a triangle, but the dormer can be closed in high wind conditions that favor a most-stable triangular design. ...It's nice to have options!

- Heavy duty YKK zippers ensure a reliable tent experience.

- There is lighting pre-installed in the tent and topper areas that can be activated separately.

- Each window or opening has a bug screen and a waterproof flap, so you can adjust your hangout as the weather shifts.

-Crossbars (sold separately) mount to the roof for extra gear-carrying capacity.

- Replacement parts are in stock, ready to rock, should the hard knocks of your next trip take a toll on the camper.

- The structure is made of CNC laser-cut aluminum panels.

- In our mission to save you money in an industry that is overpriced-as-whoa, prices listed are for a camper-in-a-crate! Basically, you bolt the four sides of the base together, bolt the tent portion of the camper on top, connect a few wires, and safely hoist it onto your truck. (Assembly and Installation services are also available)
